Why a Wisla Wallbox?

Why a Wisla Wallbox?

The Wisla Wallbox is developed in Switzerland and allows you to charge your vehicle conveniently at home.

Whether during the day or overnight, you decide when and for how long your vehicle should be charged and are therefore always mobile.

The deliberately simple operation of the Wisla Wallbox gives you visual and acoustic feedback so that you always have an overview.

You save yourself waiting time at public charging points and can also keep electricity costs at home as low as possible by paying attention to local electricity tariffs.

Thanks to its slim design and waterproof housing, the Wisla Wallbox always finds the right place, whether in your garage, your car port or outside in the car park.

With the Wisla Wallbox, you can charge your electric vehicle with up to 22 kW.

Compared to a household socket, which generates a maximum charging power of 2.3 kW, the power is almost 10 times higher and the charging process is completed correspondingly faster. Charging via a household socket also harbours some risks. This is because household sockets are not designed for the continuous load of a charging process and can develop enormous heat or even cause fires if used continuously. This is guaranteed not to happen to you with Wisla's built-in temperature monitoring.

Wisla Wallbox is TÜV-certified and manufactured to the highest safety standards.

The integrated fault and overcurrent detection protects you, your vehicle and your home from accidents and hazards. Charging continues reliably even after power failures in the grid. So you can devote yourself to other important things in your life without any worries.

Compatibility with electric vehicles is also no problem.

Thanks to the permanently installed type 2 charging cable, you can charge all standard electric vehicles on the European market safely and easily.

Would you like to charge two vehicles at the same time?

With the integrated Load Management Light, a specialist can easily connect a second Wisla Wallbox to your home installation. The charging current is automatically set so that your power grid is not overloaded and no components are exposed to increased stress.

What else is needed to install the Wisla?

In order to operate the Wisla Wallbox in accordance with standards, your connection for the Wisla must include an overcurrent circuit breaker (max. 32A) and a type A RCD (max. 30mA).

There is no need for an RCD type EV or type B, as the Wisla Wallbox has integrated DC fault current detection.

In addition, the Wisla Wallbox can be equipped with further components, depending on what other applications you are planning:

By adding an energy meter, you always have control over how much electricity your car has drawn. The integration of various such meters is prepared and can be done very easily.

Do you want to make sure that nobody else is charging at your Wisla? By adding an external key switch or button, authentication can be realised very easily. Or you can use the integrated Modbus connection to control the power output using a sophisticated method.
